What is the New Mexico Guitar Festival?
The New Mexico Guitar Festival is a multi-day community music and learning event in Albuquerque, featuring classes, workshops, and the festival guitar orchestra, all held in a charming & friendly setting. You will enjoy meeting fellow guitarists who share the passion for all things guitar.
Participants will have the opportunity to perform in a guitar orchestra, attend classes and workshops, and see outstanding performances by New Mexico guitarists. Festival attendees range in age from 13 to 90+.
Guitar New Mexico is committed to educating and inspiring guitarists of any age. The Festival provides an affordable and efficient method to reach out to musicians seldom served by this unique art form, with the goal of motivating musicians of all ages to explore the guitar more deeply.
